The Honors Program offers a series of enriched courses. Our courses include enhancements
that provide students the opportunity to learn at a higher level than non-Honors courses. Honors
courses provide more time for class discussions and the sharing of ideas, more abstract
thinking, and exposure to material that will better prepare students for the challenges
of upper-level college work. In essence, Honors courses are more interesting. All
of the students in an Honors class are bright, academic achievers who are highly motivated,
making the classroom atmosphere is more conducive to learning.
All Honors courses are applicable towards NCC’s degree requirements, no additional
courses are required that are above or beyond a student’s degree requirements.
No additional fees are required to take Honors courses; they cost the same as non-Honors
courses.
Honors students receive personalized advisement via the Honors coordinators.
