Summer Registration Information
Summer Courses will be offered in a variety of instructional formats including asynchronous online, synchronous online, and face-to-face. When can you register for classes?
CONTINUING DEGREE-SEEKING STUDENTS
If you attended any term on or after Summer 2024, you may register for Summer 2025 by logging into your myNCC Portal beginning March 10, 2025 at 8am.
NON-DEGREE STUDENTS (Personal Enrichment)
Acceptance as a non-degree student means that you are not matriculated into a program of study and are not eligible for state, federal financial aid or loan programs. Previously matriculated students returning for the summer semester are accepted as non-degree students only. A separate degree-seeking application must be submitted for the fall semester.
Personal Enrichment: you do not intend to earn a degree or certificate at Nassau Community College but rather plan to take one or more courses for personal enrichment, for transfer to another college, or for professional growth.
If you have never attended Nassau Community College or attended prior to Summer 2024, you must submit proof of either high school graduation and/or completion of a college degree to complete the application process. Once admitted, you may register for Summer 2025 by logging into your myNCC Portal, beginning March 24, 2025 at 8 am.
The Admissions Application for Summer 2025 will be available after March 17th.
VISITING STUDENTS
Students who are matriculated at another institution may, with the permission of their home institution, study at Nassau Community College for up to two consecutive semesters, while still maintaining matriculated status at their home institution. Visiting students may begin registering for Summer 2025 classes on March 24, 2025 at 8 am.
The Admissions Application for Summer 2025 will be available after March 17th.
If you are currently attending another University/College, complete a Visiting Student Application and attach proof of enrollment at your Home Institution. Acceptable proof of enrollment: Nassau Community College’s Home Institution Approval form, a permission form from your home school, or an enrollment verification from the National Student Clearinghouse.
