Do You Want To Take College Classes While Still In High School ?
Taking one or two classes per semester* as an Enrichment student will give you the opportunity to explore areas of interest and gain college credit. Although credits completed as an Enrichment student may apply towards a certificate or degree program at NCC, you are NOT considered a degree-seeking (matriculated) student.
* No more than two courses may be taken each semester

CHECKLIST FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Requirements for High School Enrichment candidates:
- Completion of the sophomore year (10th grade) in high school
- Acceptable general academic achievement in high school
- Sufficient emotional maturity to cope with and benefit from an early college experience as evidenced in an interview with counselor from the Admissions Office
- Permission of the high school principal or school counselor
Complete the online HS Enrichment Application.
Payment of a $55 non-refundable application must be made at the time of registration if the student has not already applied and paid a previous application fee.
When submitting your application, please indicate what course you would like, along
with its CRN number.
How to find the course schedule and CRN number:
- Click here to view the class schedule
- Select the desired term under "Search by Term"
- Use the menus to find your course
- Once you find your course, click the link to confirm there is availability in the course. If the number under “Remaining” is 0, the course is full.
- The CRN number is a five-digit number, adjacent to the course.
Submit HS transcripts and other documentation.
The application includes a section to upload your HS transcripts. For all other documentation, i.e. SAT and/or ACT scores, if available, please email to admissions@ncc.edu. When the application is submitted, communication is sent to the provided school counselor and parent/guardian confirming your readiness and participation for the High School Enrichment program.
Please note, Nassau Community College reserves the right to request an applicant complete a third party evaluation for academic documents from outside of the Unites States. The evaluation company must be members of AACRAO, NAFSA, NACES, AICE, ATA and Better Business Bureau.
Submit Immunization Records, if necessary.
If you were born on or after 1/1/1957, and are registering for six or more credits, New York State requires you to submit proof of immunization for measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) in order to secure your registration for classes. You must also submit the required NYS meningitis survey. Go to Health Services to learn more.
Sign up for your MyNCC Portal Account:
This portal account gives you access to most information and activity you need as an NCC student. You can monitor your application process, also register for classes and pay your tuition bill through your MyNCC Portal account.
Go to MyNCC and click on the MyNCC icon on the upper right hand corner. New students: use your NCC ID number (N-number) which will be sent to you from the Admissions Office after you have submitted your application and application fee. Your date of birth is your initial password (mmddyy)
