Mandatory Pre-Freshman Summer Program

All accepted first-time EOP students are required to participate in a four-week pre-freshman summer program during Mid-July to Mid-August prior to the beginning coursework in the fall semester.
The summer program provides students with:

• Instructional coursework to strengthen academic competencies in the areas of reading, writing, math and critical thinking.
• An opportunity to acclimate to the campus environment and build relationships with the EOP staff.
• The opportunity to meet faculty who teach at the college.
• Enrichment activities and opportunities for social engagement.
