Educational Opportunity Program
The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) is jointly sponsored by The State University of New York (SUNY) and Nassau Community College.
This Program provides access, academic support and modest financial support to students who show promise for succeeding in college despite poor preparation and limited financial resources. Available to full-time, matriculated students, the program supports students throughout their college careers.
Services
- Academic Support.
- Tutoring and Supplemental Instruction.
- Modest Financial Assistance for non-tuition expenses (book, supplies, etc.).
- A shared sense of community
Mission Statement
The mission of the Educational Opportunity Program is to provide academic support and supplemental financial assistance to students who have the potential to succeed despite inadequate high school preparation and limited financial resources.
