Participants Will Be Taught:
- Intro: document creation, editing, formatting, printing; creating basic tables; features
such as spell/grammar check, autocorrect, clipart and word art
- Intermediate: build on introductory skills - inserting tabs, headers, footers, borders, columns,
and working with multiple documents and mail merge
- Advanced: learn automation – advanced mail merging, customizing tool bars, creating org charts,
text boxes, creating and executing macros
Microsoft Excel – Intro, Intermediate, Advanced
Objective: Learn the essentials of the most popular spreadsheet package in this series of 3 one-day
workshops
Participants Will Be Taught:
- Intro: spreadsheet creation, editing, formatting; basic formulas and functions and features;
creating charts
- Intermediate: build on introductory skills – understanding formulas, functions and range names,
advanced chart making
- Advanced: conditional and nested functions; add excel content to other Microsoft Office programs;
link worksheets; macros and pivot tables
Microsoft Powerpoint – Intro & Intermediate
Objective: Learn to create effective electronic presentations in this series of 2 one-day workshops
Participants Will Be Taught:
- Intro: slideshow creation, templates, special effects; inserting charts, tables, clipart,
sound, video, pictures; presentation techniques
- Intermediate: build on introductory skills – add animation, music, org charts; embed and link
objects; create hyperlinks and custom backgrounds
