Career Boutique at NCC

High-quality professional attire for students.

The Career Boutique at NCC offers current students FREE professional clothing and accessories appropriate for job interviews or to attend work or an internship. Current students are welcome to visit the Boutique once per semester.

Where is the Boutique located?

The Career Boutique is located in the Career and Transfer Counseling Center in Nassau Hall (M), Room 19.

When is the Boutique open?

The Boutique is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:00pm - 4:00pm. An appointment is required. If a student is unable to attend their scheduled appointment, please contact us to cancel.

How do students schedule an appointment to visit the Boutique?

What kinds of clothing items are available?

The Boutique offers men’s and women’s clothing including jackets, pants, shirts, blouses, dresses, and skirts. Shoes, bags, ties, and other accessories are also available. There is no guarantee that a certain size or item will be in stock at any given time. If a student cannot find a suitable item during their visit, they are welcome to return at a later date when inventory is updated.

Please review the following tips on how to dress for success.

Dress in business attire, even if you're interviewing in a business-casual office. Suits for men; suits or dresses for women. Go easy on the aftershave or perfume—better yet, don't wear fragrance at all just in case someone you are about to meet has allergies. Go light on the jewelry—earrings, a watch, and nothing else. No T-shirts, tank tops, or flip flops.
