Stay on Long Island Scholarships (SOLI)

Nassau Community College has partnered with local 4-year colleges/universities to create the Stay on Long Island (SOLI) Scholarship for outstanding students. 
 
SUNY Nassau Community College students who obtain an Associate’s Degree with an GPA of a 3.75 or higher are eligible to apply. At least one full tuition scholarship (with the exception of SUNY Farmingdale) will be awarded to a SUNY Nassau Community College student who will be a May 2024 or August 2024 graduate.

SOLI scholarship recipients must maintain a 3.0 GPA. Students will be required to file a FAFSA each year they are enrolled.  
 
The SOLI scholarships recipients must attend on a full-time basis (at least 12 credits) as a matriculated student for consecutive fall and spring semesters. Scholarships apply to fall and spring semesters and are limited to four consecutive semesters. The Stay on Long Island Scholarship is applied to tuition only.   The scholarship does not apply to program fees, miscellaneous college fees, books or room and board.

SOLI applications will be available on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 for May 2024 or August 2024 graduates.

SUNY Stony Brook 1 full tuition scholarship

Please email SOLI@ncc.edu for the applications or visit the Career and Transfer Counseling Center in Nassau Hall, Room 19. Applications must be submitted by Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 4:00pm. Students can bring their applications to the Career and Transfer Counseling Center in Nassau Hall, Room 19 or they can submit their applications electronically by emailing: SOLI@ncc.edu
