”I am a Liberal Arts major in my second year at NCC. The biggest reason why I chose Nassau Community College is that I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life after high school and saw NCC as the perfect place to explore that. I have not regretted my decision. One of my favorite experiences at this College has been meeting people who share the same interests as me. I became an orientation leader because I want to help these new students understand that while College can be challenging it is not as hard as it seems to be at first. When I hear about Nassau Community College, I think about the many opportunities you have to explore your interests. Whether there's a niche class you might enjoy, a specific club that talks about an interesting subject, or school-approved events, there are many opportunities that NCC has to offer its students.”

Stanley Pan
I served in the United States Navy in Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, II and at Camp Pendleton with the 5th Marines. I was also deployed to Okinawa, Japan twice. Stateside, I knew that Nassau Community College has a reputation for being very military friendly, and when I got here, it was true.
