The Electrical Engineering Technology (A.A.S.) program is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, https://www.abet.org, under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Electrical/Electronic(s) Engineering Technology and Similarly Named Programs. This curriculum prepares students as electronic technicians to enter such fields as aerospace, communications, digital computer controls and energy conversion. Within these and related fields they may perform duties as part of a research and development team or a manufacturing, test or service group. Graduates may continue their education by pursuing studies towards a Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology.
