I've been teaching at Nassau Community College since 2011. In 2013 I became a full-time faculty member. I teach drawing, painting and 2D design. I'm working with the department to add a future course in animation. I've been fortunate enough to appear in many exhibitions. Among them are: the Reservoir Art Space, Sculptor's Alliance, and Dillon Gallery -- all in New York; the Parisian Laundry and Galerie d'Este (both in Montreal); Altelier De Appelhaven (Horn, Netherlands); and John Cabot University (Rome).
One of my fondest memories from my tenure at SUNY Nassau so far comes from 2016, when I took an Art 111 (Drawing 1) class to Italy. We visited Rome, Florence, Pisa and Pietrasanta. We also went to a hill town called Gallena, where, from 1996 to 2000, I painted frescoes in the church of Santa Barbara. It is a privilege for me to teach such a diverse student body at Nassau Community College. The College's faculty and classroom facilities are among the finest I've ever seen.

I served in the United States Navy in Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, II and at Camp Pendleton with the 5th Marines. I was also deployed to Okinawa, Japan twice. Stateside, I knew that Nassau Community College has a reputation for being very military friendly, and when I got here, it was true.

"I served in the United States Navy in San Diego from 2014 to 2021, first on the USS Harpers Ferry and then on the USS Rushmore. When it was time for me to attend college, I chose NCC because it's veteran friendly and offers many different programs.
