I have been an instructor at Nassau Community College since 2015, beginning as an adjunct instructor and currently as a full-time faculty member in the Criminal Justice Department. I teach introductory courses, as well as the more specialized courses of Understanding Criminal Behavior, Criminal Law, and Criminal Procedure.
Before coming to NCC, I was an Assistant District Attorney in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office (in Brooklyn, NY) assigned to the Sex Crimes and Special Victims Bureau. I thoroughly enjoy bringing my past experiences as a prosecutor into the classroom to educate the students.
I am most proud of our students when I receive an email from a former NCC student telling me that he/she/they have begun to realize their dreams. Many students will contact me to tell me they have done well on a Law Enforcement entrance exam, been called by a local Law Enforcement agency to join, or have successfully graduated from their 4-year school after starting their collegiate education at NCC. It’s then that I am most grateful to have played a small part in their success!
I am truly honored to educate the future Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice professionals of Nassau County and beyond.

I served in the United States Navy in Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, II and at Camp Pendleton with the 5th Marines. I was also deployed to Okinawa, Japan twice. Stateside, I knew that Nassau Community College has a reputation for being very military friendly, and when I got here, it was true.

"I served in the United States Navy in San Diego from 2014 to 2021, first on the USS Harpers Ferry and then on the USS Rushmore. When it was time for me to attend college, I chose NCC because it's veteran friendly and offers many different programs.
