STEP

STEP (in partnership with various Nassau County School Districts: Hempstead, Uniondale, Roosevelt, Sewanhaka, Westbury)

Science and Technology Entry Program (STEP) purpose is to increase the number of economically disadvantaged students prepared to enter college, and improve their participation rate in mathematics, science, technology, health-related fields, and the licensed professions. STEP provides academic enrichment in science and mathematics content areas to improve student readiness for post-secondary entry and/or the workforce.
