All study personnel must submit proof to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of completed training on human research subjects. Nassau Community College recommends completing either the CITI Program or the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services program. Additional details for each training are provided below.
Research personnel completing the training offered through the CITI Program should at least complete the Social-Behavioral-Educational (SBE) Comprehensive training. The SBE course provides a review of key topics related to human subjects research for personnel engaged in social, behavioral and educational research.
