Each academic year, the Nassau Community College Foundation offers hundreds of scholarship opportunities to deserving students. For a listing of current opportunities, visit NCCscholarships.org
Scholarships are awarded to new and continuing students based on academic excellence, financial need, leadership, service, talent and criteria required by the scholarship donor. Many scholarships are need-based and require students to also file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Students who are awarded a Foundation scholarship will be notified that there is a change on their student financial record, and the scholarship funds will be automatically credited to their student account. A follow-up email will be sent to the student’s College email address.
Recipients will be asked to send a thank you note or video to the donor(s) whose generosity made the scholarship possible. Recipients will also be invited to the Presidential Awards Scholarships Ceremony at which they often meet their donor.

A scholarship fund is one of the most effective instruments in promoting educational
excellence and assisting students in financial need to complete their education. It
offers a superb way to memorialize an individual, ensure the future of an important
academic program and keep the College’s promise of offering an affordable education,
while aiding deserving students. The Nassau Community College Foundation has many
opportunities available for interested donor-investors.
