Course Options For Non-Degree Students

If you are attending NCC as a non-degree student, you may not be eligible to register for every course offered at our college.

• You may register for any of the courses on the list below if they are offered and have available seats. Note that there may be some sections of these courses that are designated for a special population or major, which will prevent you from enrolling. If this happens, try to find an alternate section that does not have any restriction.
• You may not register for a course with an unsatisfied pre-requisite. However, if you took the pre-requisite at another college or have non-remedial placement test scores, you may have additional course options. You may need to go to the Department Chairperson at NCC and show a transcript that demonstrates successful completion (a “C” or better) for the pre-requisite or you may see an advisor to discuss the additional course options.
• If you continue as a non-degree student in future semesters, you may be eligible to take additional courses besides those listed. For example, if you take PSY 203 this semester, next semester you will be eligible to enroll in additional psychology courses.
